Papaha Paintings

MONO PRINT SERIES
These are created through an processes of painting on glass with acrylic, and then laying down the paper to into the work to create prints. The first few prints are usually done with a thicker mulberry paper to hold a greater amount of paint, then as more prints are made a thinner rice paper is used to absorb the remaining pigment. Although the images look similar they do change with life of there own as the process evolves.
